Gloria Bearden (Willson)

Gloria Bearden Willson  (1947-2025)

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my mother, Gloria Willson passed away peacefully this morning in her home in Pampa, TX. She is now with Jesus and she is free! Gloria was a “one of a kind” human being. She had such a dynamic personality and she loved Jesus fiercely and walked with Him moment by moment. Gloria was truly a prayer warrior - she covered those she loved in prayer daily. She loved her family and friends deeply and was loved by so many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Willson. They enjoyed 34 years of marriage together. Gloria is survived by her son, Darren Poore, & wife, Kelly Poore of Austin, TX and also by her daughter, Brandi Silva & husband, Tony Silva of Bremerton, WA. Gloria had 4 grandchildren whom she loved SO very much - Riley & Logan Poore and Loren & Luke Silva. She will be greatly missed and we will treasure our memories we had with her. We know where she is now and there is peace. We take comfort and joy in the fact that she is now reunited with her husband and her parents in Heaven. Her favorite verse she held onto in her last years was Psalm 73:26 - “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

We will miss you mom! See you on the other side! ♥️

Gloria was a good friend in high school. We were in Brownies together and Girl Scouts. She was a treasure to all. We will miss her at our 60th reunion but she will be there with so many others in spirit. I will see you again Gloria, meet me at the pearly gates.
