I coached for 31 years in public high school in Texas at Hereford,Galveston,Sweeny,Paris & Clute/Lake Jackson.
Retired in 2001. Worked in a local bank as a public relations employee for 3 years to get full quarters for Medicare. I don't do much anymore, and I don't start that till noon!! I really enjoy retirement working in my yard & garden. We have travelled some and will do more in the future.
School Story:

Played college football at the University of Houston from 1965 to 1970. Went back to college after a tour in the US Army. Graduated from graduate school at East Texas State University in 1978.

I knew Bob in school in Pampa,Texas and later after college, we were drafted in to the US Army in the fall of 1970; went through bootcamp at Fort Ord California. I guess thats the last time I saw Bob ; during graduation at bootcamp. Bob was a fine guy! He never did have a great deal to say. I am really sorry to hear about is death. May peace be with his family and friends.
