I'm not positive, but I think that Steve and I were in Ms. Clifford's 1st grade class together at B M Baker school. I do know that it seemed I had been friends with Steve all of my childhood and adult life. We were both a couple of average track runners at PHS, but we had a lot of fun.  Steve and I were a couple of dumb scared kids on August 1, 1966 when we both were drafted and sent to Fort Bliss Texas for basic training. We reunited after the service when we both worked at Cabot/Ideco/IRI Corp/National Oilwell Varco, or whatever the name was that day. Steve was a good friend and a great guy. I will miss him a lot.
