It is with great sadness I wish to inform you that my gorgeous sister Cheryl Wheeler Baglio has passed away. She was in the class of 1965.  She died following a long illness. I do not have specific details about services other than they will be in Benton Arkansas on Tuesday.

Cheryl Wheeler Baglio, 76, of Benton AR passed away April 27th after years of various health issues.

She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Baglio of 57 years. Her children, Sean Baglio (Michelle) of Sulpher Springs, TX and Brad Baglio (Kelly) of Benton, AR. Her six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Her brother Frank Novakowski (Shelly) and sisters, Toni Martin (Jay) of Mineola, TX and Denise Smith (Harry) of Benton. Multiple nieces and nephews and one dog "Precious.”

Preceded in death are her father, Elmer O. Wheeler Jr, mother Betty J Stevens (George), brother, Elmer O. Wheeler III.

Cheryl graduated from Pampa High School in 1965 where she enjoyed singing in the choir and had many friends.

Her career was in banking. She began at First National Bank of Pampa TX and completed it at Bank of the Ozarks of Little Rock AR.

For 25 years, she was a devoted member of the Benton chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Preceptor Apha Mu.

Some of the things she enjoyed were camping, singing and music, friends, travel, crafting, church, eating out and family time.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Benton AR.  In her honor, a memorial fund was established, The Cheryl Baglio Memorial Fund benefiting Saline County Christian Academy (formerly, Victory Baptist Academy).  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at www.experiencevictory.net/giving.
