Robert Lee Mann (1947-2018) 

Robert Lee Mann, 71, of Pampa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Amarillo. Robert entered this life on April 7, 1947 in Pampa to James and Joyce Mann. 

Robert lived in Pampa for three months having moved from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he made his home for the last 36 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era and went on to be a Biomedical Tech for Service Master. Robert was married to Teresa Anne Manning for 19 years. He was known as a jokester and loved making other people laugh; but was also kindhearted to those in need. Robert enjoyed studying the Bible and other languages but most of all loved being outdoors. Some of his favorite pastimes included spending time with his grandchildren and taking them on walks or to the park. 

Robert’s survivors include four sons, James Mann and wife Linda of Spokane, Washington, Joseph Mann and wife Paige of St. Paul, Minnesota, Anthony Flowers, Austin Flowers both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Katrina Fire and husband Brian of Wellston, Oklahoma, Christina Harvell and husband Trey of Montgomery, Alabama, Alyssa Flowers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother, Willie Mann and wife Cynthia of Pampa; sister, Pam Jonas and husband Randy of Pampa; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Mann and sister, Nancy Sitz.
As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Local VFW at 105 S. Cuyler St., Pampa, Texas 79065 in honor of Robert. 

Celebration of Life Services was Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the Church of Christ in Pampa with Robert’s son, Joseph Mann officiating. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
