George Bennett Hause Jr. (1947-2010)

George Bennett Hause Jr., 63, a Peninsula resident since 1975, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving two tours in Vietnam then serving 14 years in the Virginia Army National Guard. George was a Training Specialist at the Army Training Support Center (ATSC) at Fort Eustis for 30 years. He had a love for animals, his garden, his home and his family. He was a true friend to all that knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Margaret (Peggy) L. Hause; and his son, Joseph C. Hause; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Robert Bradley; niece, Lynne Beery and her husband, Sean; great-niece, Brooke.
