Jesse Hildenbrand

Jesse Brice Hildenbrand (1947-2018)

On Saturday February 24, 2018 Jesse Brice Hildenbrand, age 70, of Cypress Texas, went to be with the Lord after complications from a bleeding on the brain. He peacefully passed with his wife by his side.

Born June 22, 1947 in Higgins, Texas, he was the son of a Texas Panhandle farmer. Jesse graduated from Texas A&M University in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and earned his Professional Engineering License in 1974. Jesse also earned a second Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Houston in 1977. He worked all of his career in the Oil & Gas Industry.

Jesse married the love of life on January 5, 1974. He used to brag that a nurse made the best wife and mother. He was famous for his funny stories like the “40 year Rule”. Jesse’s sense of humor entertained everyone around him. Jesse and Marilyn were blessed with 3 children, and 5 grandchildren. Being a Papa brought him so much joy. He was known for being a penny pincher and driving old cars that he enjoyed working on. First and foremost Jesse made sure that his family was taken care of during his life and after.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Marilyn Hildenbrand, his daughter Angela Vinson and her husband Justin Vinson and their daughters Ava Mae and Emma Lyn Vinson, his son Jason Hildenbrand and his children AJ, Wyatt and Lilly Hildenbrand and his son Nathan Hildenbrand.

A memorial service was held at Epiphany Lutheran Church 14423 West Rd. Houston, TX 77041 on Wednesday February 28, 2018, where Jesse was an active member. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Reach Unlimited, https://www.reachunlimited.org/, or Epiphany Lutheran Church Building Fund, http://www.elcsh.org/.
